Abstract: In order to examine the hydraulic characters of model turbine of Tugutang Hydropower Station, the model acceptance test was carried out on PF1 rig of EPFL in Lausanne, Swiss. The test included the efficiency, output, cavitation, pressure fluctuation, run away, Winter-kennedy index and axial hydraulic thrust test etc. The test results showed that the model turbine developed by Toshiba had met or exceeded the guarantee value of contract. The model acceptance test standard, laboratory for hydraulic machines of EPFL and notice in the acceptance test are introduced. It can give a reference for model test and model acceptance test of hydraulic turbines.
