Abstract: River basin, as a special type of natural resources region, provides strong motivation and support for regional social and economic development. However, with growing population and intensity of human activities, the conflict between human and land becomes increasingly serious, posing a threat to the basin ecological security. River pollution and soil erosion are serious, and the ecological recovery ability declines. By analyzing the causes for the ecological security issues of Qingjiang River Basin, we established an index assessment system through AHP and put forward a practical and feasible management measure system by objectively analyzing the assessment results. The measures include perfecting the legal protection system of the river basin ecological security, improving the ecological security awareness, innovating the ecological security management mechanism, and integrating other social resources. Through the management system, we can explore the comprehensive development and management mode for basin to promote the regional coordinated and sustainable development.
