Abstract:
As a kind of general machinery, water pumps have been applied to every field of national economic development, especially agriculture and water projects. For the pumping station with high lift and long distance, the efficient and stable operation of pumps is the key to the whole project. Taking a water diversion pumping station of high lift and large flow as an example, the technical characteristics of various pump types were comprehensively studied and the economic costs of each type of pump were also assessed. On the basis of comparative analysis, the design scheme mostly suitable for the station was determined. The commissioning of the pumping station effectively mitigated the local water shortage and improved water supply guarantee rate for agricultural production and domestic use, which verified the correctness of the selected scheme.
