Abstract:
The soil and water loss is widely distributed in a large area in China. The traditional research methods no longer meet the needs of soil and water conservation data acquisition now. UAV remote sensing, a new method for remote sensing data acquisition, can timely obtain high-resolution remote sensing data in a small scale area and is increasingly popular in soil and water conservation. We mainly introduce its advantages such as high-resolution, high accuracy, high efficiency and low cost and analyze its data acquisition and interpretation processes. In addition, we summarize its applications in programme preparation, dynamic monitoring, supervision and law enforcement, facility assessment and acceptance of soil and water conservation and discuss the importance and development prospect of the technology in soil and water conservation.
