Abstract: Jiangxi Province was selected as the seven pilot provinces of water rights trading in 2014. In order to explore the status quo of water rights work in Jiangxi Province and analyze the requirement and pattern of water right trading, the Jiangxi Province carried out exploration and policy research, so as to provide reference for water right trading in water-rich region of south China. In view of the status quo of the water rights work in Jiangxi Province, we analyze the main types of water rights trading, relevant management, typical cases and construction of trading system. The construction ideas of water rights trading system are put forward in the aspects of right registration, management methods, supervision system of water rights trading, assessment guiding system of water rights price and risk control system. According to the current two types of water rights trading in Jiangxi Province, suggestions on related system and foundation construction are proposed.
