Abstract: For fulfilling the increasing demand of rural water conservancy informatization construction and its management, the irrigation information technology must be strengthened with the development of general information technology. In order to better handle the problems encountered in the planning stage of irrigation and drainage projects, we summarize the irrigation and drainage project as point-like, line-like and planar-like projects. For better making overall plans and simplifying the information collecting process, the author designs an Android system based irrigation information collecting software, which is easy to operate and will greatly improve efficiency of the preliminary irrigation planning works. According to a practical application, this system has obvious features and advantages.
