Abstract:
In order to systematically and quickly predict typhoon development, and provide a more scientific basis for decision-making of typhoon prevention, we developed a similar typhoon analysis and multi-source information integration system for Zhejiang Province based on the Web GIS technology architecture. According to the information of typhoon path, occurrence season, buffer radius, intensity and prediction path, etc., the system proposed four similar typhoon matching algorithms, including feature, prediction path, real-time buffer area and comprehensive matching. Through similar typhoon matching algorithm, similar typhoon matching and similarity analysis were performed on real-time typhoon or historical typhoon, and multi-source information such as typhoon path, rain, water condition and disaster situation were integrated and compared to predict the possible future development of typhoon. The system has richer and more complete functions than similar systems, and has strong application promotion value.
