Abstract: In order to solve the evaluation problem of multi-objective operation schemes for reservoirs, the MDIP-VIKOR model was established in this paper. The model organically couples subjective and objective weight optimization technology and VIKOR model. The credibility of index weight was improved by using minimum discrimination information principle in the model, and the rationality of decision process was improved by using the principle of maximizing group benefit and minimizing individual loss to evaluate schemes. The application results showed that the proposed model effectively integrates the subjective and objective weight information. The selected operation scheme seeks to improve the comprehensive benefits of the cascade reservoirs without reducing the original flood control standards, which is more reasonable and enforceable. MDIP-VIKOR evaluation model provides a new way for the multi-objective operation decision of reservoir.
