Abstract:
To study the influence of river alluvial-proluvial action on geochemical elements’ distribution, based on geochemical survey data along the Meijiang River, a tributary river of the Ganjiang river, this research takes the statistical description and variance analysis to analyze 23 sets of soil elements and pH degree along the river bank. The main conclusions reveal that the fluvial effect enhances the correlation between elements, and a progressive change is reflected for the distribution of elements in the basin area and also along the river bank, which follow a way of completely independent variables, significantly related variables, highly correlated variables. Secondly, the factor of fluvial plays a role of centralization and mixing effects on the distribution of soil elements, but this effect is relatively weak compared with the regional geological process as a whole. Lastly, the characteristics of element distribution along river are the combination of river transport and accumulation and human activities, and the river action is the main factor.
