Abstract: The comprehensive reform of agricultural water price is an important measure to promote agricultural water saving and guarantee operation of irrigation and drainage projects, which has achieved some achievements. Based on the practice of reform on agricultural water price in pilot area of Jiangxi Province, water right allocation, water price mechanism, precision subsidy and water saving reward, water supply metering facility construction, and project management and maintenance mechanism are introduced. The featured experiences are summarized, difficulties on fee pricing, water right transaction, funding implementation, adjustment of responsibilities are analyzed, and relevant suggestions are proposed. This paper can provide reference for other cities in the Jiangxi Province and Yangtze River basin to carry out comprehensive reform of agricultural water price.
