Abstract: Rural poor immigrants in the reservoir migration are a special group in China's rural poverty population, who are the key object of the task of rural poverty alleviation and development. The poverty alleviation of rural poor immigrants in the reservoir area face prominent problems such as lack of means of production, poor infrastructure, lack of production skills, etc. This paper puts forward the working concepts for the targeted poverty alleviation of reservoir immigrants, such as combining the program of danger prevention and poverty alleviation for reservoir resettlement immigrants, supporting industrial projects of immigrant villages, strengthening the technical training of rural poor immigrants, implementing the construction of beautiful homeland for rural immigrants, and providing targeted assistance for special poor immigrants, etc. Major measures for reservoir resettlement targeted poverty alleviation are also put forward through stimulating the internal driving force of poverty alleviation, strengthening the foundation of poverty alleviation and improving the work style of poverty alleviation.
