Abstract:
In 2020, the water level of Poyang Lake broke through the historical extreme value of 1998. Many dykes suffered from the flood pressure and were in danger, posing a severe challenge on the existing dyke emergency reinforcement technology. We reviewed the practices of dyke emergency reinforcement in Poyang Lake in 2020. Firstly, the overall situation of dyke emergency and reinforcement was introduced. Then, the typical emergency reinforcement methods for piping, dispersed seepage, leak, overflow, sloughing and breach were presented and the advantages and disadvantages of existing dyke emergency reinforcement technology were summarized. Finally, comprehensively considering the requirements of pre-flood defense and post-flood reconstruction, the development direction of emergency rescue technology was proposed to provide intelligent, convenient and efficient research ideas and methods for flood control emergency rescue.
