Abstract:
Non-resident islands are important parts of our country's territory. In recent years, the value of its marine resources has attracted increasing attention, and the country has set off a construction boom. However, with the development of coastal zone industry and the increase of various marine activities, offshore floating garbages are inevitably emerged.Floating garbage will cause a series of problems such as marine ecological environmental pollution and island coastline landscape destruction, which will seriously affect the ecological protection, renovation and restoration of non-resident islands. This paper introduced the successful experience of a self-driven non energy consumption interception and collection technology for offshore floating garbage in Pingtan Dayu Island,Fujian Province, from aspects of key technical points, practical application effects and benenfit analysis.Relevant experiences and reflections can be used for reference in similar projects.
