Abstract:
In order to optimize the selection of appropriate herbaceous plants for acidic red soil slope protection in South Jiangxi Province, an environment adaptability test was conducted.Seven plants(Trifolium repens, Lolium Perenne, Trifolium pratense, Cynodon dactylon, Festuca arundinacea, Paspalum notatum Flugge, Agrostis stolonifera)which could survive in red soil were sowed in the field.Fourteen indices were observed according to the growth performance, red soil features and cost. The weight of every index was determined by analytic hierarchy process(AHP).The data of seven plants was normalized under the same indicator, then the weight of plant was calculated through proportion of every plants under the same indicator. The environmental adaptabilities of seven plants were evaluated comprehensively at last. The results show that among the seven plants, Lolium Perenne has the highest weight, followed by Paspalum notatum Flugge and Agrostis stolonifera, which are recommended for acidic red soil slope protection in South Jiangxi Province.Trifolium repens and Trifolium pratense have minimum weights indicating that they have the worst environmental adaptability and slope protection ability and are not used as herbaceous plants for red soil slope protection in south Jiangxi Province.
