Abstract:
The construction of ecological riverbank is a development trend in inland waterway regulation at home and abroad, and it is also an important way to achieve riparian biodiversity protection and riverine ecosystem restoration. In this study, the ecological riverbank construction in the deep waterway regulation for the Yangtze River was selected as an example. Based on the analytic hierarchy process, a total of 16 indicators belonging to the five categories of structural stability, material ecology, rationality of the engineering layout, engineering economy, and ecological system service function, were preformed to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system on implement effect of the ecological riverbank in inland waterway. By using the ecological compliance index of riverbank (ECIR), the implement effect of the mesh grid riverbank, lattice gabion ballasted vegetation-mat riverbank, and traditional riprap riverbank were evaluated. The results showed that the implement effect of lattice gabion ballasted vegetation-mat riverbank was the best, followed by the mesh grid riverbank, and the traditional riprap riverbank was relatively poor.
