Abstract: In order to promote the digital transformation of hydropower industry and construction of intelligent hydro-power，we comprehensively sort out the existing pain points and actual demands in digital transformation and intelligent hydropower business.The design ideas，core requirements and main feature of the industrial internet of things platform （IIoT） of China Yangtze Power Corporation Ltd are introduced briefly.The architecture of the platform is put forward.An actual example is provided to explain how IIoT empowers traditional hydro-power business.Application shows that the architecture of CYPC Industrial Internet Platform can meet the demands of the hydro-power business completely and the platform has realized the integration of OT and IT effectively.It can implement experience precipitation and knowledge reuse，also it can improve a deeper level of intelligence for hydro-power industry based on the combination of knowledge drive and data drive.The results can promote the intelligent and digital transformation of the hydro-power industry.
