Abstract:
In the flood season of 2022,due to the influences of continuous high temperature and less rain and less upstream water, there was a rare phenomenon of 'flood season turning dry' in the Yangtze River Basin.Aiming at the typical hydrological stations in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,Manning formula and one-dimensional three-point interpolation method were used to find a reasonable water level-discharge relationship curve during low and dry seasons. On the basis of comparative study on their rationality, combined with the extension trend of water level-discharge relationship during low and dry seasons of typical hydrological control stations in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the factors affecting the water level-discharge relationship were proposed, and an accurate and reliable water level-discharge relationship during low and dry seasons was established. The trend of water level-discharge at the main hydrological stations in the Yangtze River during the flood season in 2022 was analyzed and predicted. The results showed that the predicted trend was consistent with the actual process. The research results can provide reference for future drought prevention in the Yangtze River Basin, water replenishment scheduling from the Three Gorges Reservoir to the middle and lower reaches, and water security.
