Abstract:
Landslides are a common geological hazard in northern Guizhou Province, and the government invests a lot every year to carry out related governance and research. However, the simulation analysis of landslide deformation and its evolutionary impact is still very insufficient. For this purpose, based on the field survey and investigation of typical landslides in the Northern Guizhou Province, six groups of sand-box models with different stratigraphic dip and lateral friction conditions were designed to study landslide deformation.PIV technology was applied to analyze and explore the strain rate field during the evolution process of landslide deformation of the analogue modelling test. The results showed that:(1) The stratigraphic dip has a strong effect on landslides.Under the condition of the low-dip angle, the deformation evolution of the landslide exhibits a diachronism phenomenon.Under the condition of the high-dip angle, the landslide mainly undergoes gradual propagation and deformation from the rear zone to the middle zone, and then to the front zone.(2) The strength of lateral friction affects the geometric shape of the landslide.Landslides with high lateral friction form a strip-shape accumulated body.On the contrary, landslides with low-friction form an approximate elliptical shape.Analogue modelling results of this study can provide structural physics references for understanding the evolution process of landslides in northern Guizhou Province.
