Abstract:
In order to satisfy the requirements about siphon equipment of large flow capacity in emergency rescue of barrier lakes, we examine the application scenarios and development challenges of high-powered siphon equipment for emergency rescue in barrier lakes scenarios.A targeted holistic design was conducted for the barrier lakes siphon equipment system. We present critical technologies such as hydraulic flow field optimization, digital intelligent control, and industrial modular assembly for dammed-lake siphon drainage. The equipment contains three parts of submerged flow correct unit, liquid air exchange unit, intelligent monitoring unit. The flow correct unit adopts pipe inflow way of paralleling hole-group jet, and the intelligent monitoring units adopts distributed data management. The developed siphon is characterized by steady operation, large flowing quantity, easy assembly and fast start-up with discharge capacity surpassing 15 000 m3/h.The developed equipment can not only be applied in emergency drainage rescue operations for dammed lakes, but also in other fields requiring high volume water extraction and drainage.
