Abstract:
To explore the research hotspots and development trends in river ecological restoration and rehabilitation technologies, a bibliometric analysis method was conducted based on literature retrieved from the Web of Science (WOS) database.Using VOSviewer software, a systematic review and analysis of domestic and international publications from 2010 to 2023 were performed, revealing the research status in this field. The results indicate that global attention on river ecological restoration and rehabilitation technologies continues to rise, with a steady increase in the volume of literature, reflecting a period of rapid development.China has emerged as a core contributor in this field, while the United States leads in research impact.Research hotspots have shifted from river regulation to aquatic ecosystem restoration, and further to the impacts of urbanization and natural conditions, demonstrating a trend toward interdisciplinary collaboration.Facing global challenges such as climate change and urbanization, this field holds broad development prospects, with future efforts expect to focus on the fundamental improvements in riverine ecological environments.
