基于B-IBI的京杭运河苏北段健康评估

    Health assessment of Northern Jiangsu Section of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal based on Benthic Index of Biotic Integrity (B-IBI)

    • 摘要: 底栖动物完整性指数(B-IBI)已被广泛用于河流生态系统状况评估。在分析岸线利用类型对底栖动物群落结构影响的基础上,使用B-IBI评价了京杭大运河苏北段(南水北调东线输水水源区)的生态系统健康状况,并结合冗余分析(RDA)探讨了影响京杭大运河苏北段生态系统健康的主要环境因子。结果表明:①京杭大运河苏北段33.3%的河段处于“健康”状态,40.0%的河段处于“较差”及以下水平,健康状况在空间分布上呈现北部优于南部的格局。②自然岸线河段能够为底栖动物提供更有利的栖息环境,其底栖动物群落多样性和生态系统健康状况显著优于人工岸线河段。③京杭大运河苏北段的自然岸线率、电导率(EC)和氨氮(NH3-N)是生态系统健康的最主要影响因素。研究成果可为京杭大运河岸线保护和生态复苏提供参考。

       

      Abstract: The Benthic Index of Biotic Integrity (B-IBI) has been widely used to assess the ecological health of river ecosystems.Based on an analysis of the impact of shoreline utilization types on benthic macroinvertebrate community structure, this study applied the B-IBI to evaluate the ecosystem health of the Northern Jiangsu Section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which serves as the source area for the Eastern Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.Redundancy Analysis (RDA) was also employed to identify the main environmental factors influencing the ecological health of this canal section.The results showed that: ① 33.3% of the river segments in the Northern Jiangsu Section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal were in a healthy state, while 40.0% were in poor or lower conditions.The spatial distribution of health status followed a pattern of better conditions in the northern sections than in the southern.② Natural shoreline segments provided more favorable habitats for benthic organisms, with significantly higher benthic community diversity and better ecological health compared to artificial shoreline segments.③ RDA results indicated that the proportion of natural shoreline, electrical conductivity (EC), and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) were the key factors influencing the ecological health of this section of the canal.This study provides scientific references for shoreline protection and ecological restoration in the Northern Jiangsu Section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
