典型浅滩-深潭河段鱼类多样性及生态类群特征研究

    Fish Diversity and Ecological Groups in Typical Riffle–Pool River Sections of the Yangtze River

    • 摘要: 为了解长江上游变动回水区典型浅滩-深潭河段主要鱼类群落的种类组成和多样性特征,利用环境DNA(eDNA)技术对广阳坝和大箭滩河段的鱼类进行物种多样性分析。结果显示,两个河段共监测到11目18科54属77种鱼类,以鲤科鱼类为主,包括14种长江特有种,8种入侵物种。综合来看,鲤(Cyprinus carpio)、草鱼(Ctenopharyngodon idella)和贝氏䱗(Hemiculter bleekeri)是本次调查的主要优势种。α多样性分析表明,两个河段支汊的物种多样性更高,此外,与大箭滩河段相比,广阳坝河段的物种分布相对均匀。最后,对于鱼类生态类群划分结果表明,研究河段鱼类主要以杂食性、喜缓流、中下层、定居型、喜集群及产黏性卵特征为主。研究结果证明了eDNA技术对于揭示鱼类物种多样性及生态类群信息的有效性,可以为长江鱼类多样性保护提出针对性的意见,以指导河流修复工程的设计,确保修复措施能够满足不同鱼类的生境需求。

       

      Abstract: In order to understand the species composition and diversity characteristics of the major fish communities in typical riffle-pool reaches of the fluctuating backwater area of the upper Yangtze River, species diversity analyses of fishes in the Guangyangba and Dajiantan reaches were conducted using environmental DNA (eDNA) technology. The results showed that a total of 77 species of fishes of 11 orders, 18 families, 54 genera were monitored in the two river sections, dominated by fishes of the family Cyprinidae, including 14 species endemic to the Yangtze River, 8 invasive species, and 12 species seldom reported in other surveys. Taken together, Cyprinus carpio, Ctenopharyngodon idella, and Hemiculter bleekeri were the main dominant species in this survey. The α-diversity analyses indicated higher species diversity in the tributaries of both tow reaches, and a relatively even distribution of species in the Guangyangba reach compared to the Dajiantan reach. Finally, the results of the classification of fish ecological group showed that the fish in the study reaches were mainly polyphagy, middle-lower, sedentary, adhesive egg-producing, living with cluster and preference for slow-flowing. The results of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of eDNA technology in revealing information on fish species diversity and ecological groups, and provide targeted advice for the protection of fish diversity in the Yangtze River to guide the design of river habitat restoration projects and ensure that the restoration measures can meet the habitat needs of different fish species.
