Abstract: The bid of engineering construction projects is highly professional and practical, and the laws and regulations are more mandatory, the situations are complicated. Since the bidding work started, Water Sources Company of South-to-North Water Diversion paid more attention on the standardization of organization and management institution and bid system, and a group of professional management staff was organized. By the principle of according to the laws and regulations, the contractor was optimized and selected, the construction period was controlled, so as to ensure the engineering quality, reduce the cost and increase the investment returns. Some experiences of the bid management are summarized.
