Abstract: The protection of the Changjiang River is highlighted by China, along with the construction and application of relevant information systems, a large number of spatio-temporal data resources of various forms have been produced. How to integrate these data resources and serve for business management is a hot spot in the research of the Changjiang River Protection. Taking Hubei Province as a research pilot, we collected and sorted out the data resources of various departments in the Chanjiang River Protection work. Based on the characteristics of spatio-temporal data and combining with the business purpose of the Changjiang River Protection, we pay attention on the data resource planning and integration. On this basis, we construct a data middle platform of the Changjiang River Protection, and apply the data integration technology into planning control, natural resources reservation, treatment of water pollution and ecology restoration. The experiences have certain reference significance for data integration and application in other cities or river basins.
