Stability analysis of slope reinforced with anti-sliding piles based on critical slip field theory

    • The theory of critical slip field has been applied and developed in many fields such as slope stability, earth pressure theory and foundation bearing capacity; however, this theory are less applied in slope reinforcement with anti-sliding piles. Based on the unbalanced thrust of critical slip field theory, the critical slip field theory in slope reinforcement with anti-sliding piles is systematically analyzed from three aspects of basic theory, computing method and example verification, including the discrete method of slope body, shear parameters of composite soil, the search of critical slip field, dangerous sliding direction of state point, the determination of maximum residual thrust, as well as the calculation of minimum safety factor. Finally, this specific calculation method is verified with a classic example, it is shown that using critical slip field theory to analyze the slope reinforcement with anti-sliding piles is reasonable.
