Establishment of river health evaluation system based on ESG concept

River health evaluation is an important content of the river chief system, and also an important measure to promote green development and harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.Integrating the ESG concept into the river health evaluation system, a river health evaluation index system based on environmental(E),social(S),and governance(G) had been established.A river health evaluation model based on matter-element extension model had been established by using a combination of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy Weight Method to determine the weight of indicators.The validation results of the Qingtong River case indicated that this evaluation system could evaluate the health status of rivers and analyze the development trend of river health levels.The research results can provide important support for the scientific evaluation of river health.
