Research on stability control technology for inclined shaft surrounding rock in water-rich and weak strata

    • The construction of inclined shafts in water-rich and weak strata is easy to cause geological disasters such as surrounding rock collapse, large deformation and water inrush, which will threaten the safety of construction workers and equipment and delay the overall project progress.Based on the construction practice of No.5 inclined shaft of Xianglushan tunnel project, a controlling project in the water diversion of central Yunnan Province, the main geological problems of the inclined shaft revealed by the excavation were clarified as the collapse of the top arch, the outer bulge in the weak zone and the inrush of water.Based on the understanding of the surrounding rock failure process and its underlying mechanism, engineering analogy and on-site feedback were used to propose geological disaster disposal measures and stability control technologies for different failure mechanisms.Relevant research results can provide references for the stability control of surrounding rock in inclined shafts under similar geological conditions.
