BIM model attributes management based on classification and coding standards

In order to improve the standardization level and efficiency of encoding and attribute information management of BIM model, based on the study of the classification and coding standards, we proposed an encoding and attribute management method of BIM model.We standardized the structure of coding and attributes of BIM model and the attribute template library, provided standard template library for encoding and attribute attaching for BIM model in the hydropower industry, and further developed a set of attribute management software based on BENTLEY.The method and software have been successfully applied in several hydropower projects and achieved good application results, and can be further applied to new energy engineering, traffic engineering and other fields.
