    Research on application of F5G technology in communication network of Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project

    • As a fundamental supporting network, the communication system plays a crucial role in the intelligent operation and management of water diversion and transfer projects. To solve problems faced by the communication network of water diversion and diversion projects in the digital twin era and meet their transmission requirements, we proposed to utilize F5G technology to enhance the carrying capacity of the engineering communication network, and to construct a communication network of water diversion and diversion projects through two key technologies, OSU and all-optical PON. Taking the water diversion project in Central Yunnan as the research object, the engineering communication network was comprehensively and systematically deployed from three aspects: network architecture, network nodes and networking mode. According to the actual business carrying requirements, four application scenarios, namely F5G+ multi-network convergence, F5G+ remote control, F5G+ converged communication and F5G+ integrated communication and sensing, were proposed. The research results show that F5G technology can effectively solve the problems such as mismatch between services and networks and insufficient intelligence existing in traditional communication networks when supporting new services, and realize the intelligent carrying of digital twin services for the Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project. The research results can provide technical ideas and methods for building a high-speed, flexible, intelligent and secure communication network for water diversion and transfer, and offer references for the construction of water diversion and transfer projects in the digital twin era.
